Now that no input are moving from pure video to audio/visual work, we thought it would be a good idea to put out some audio mixes. Since we're currently spending all our free time concentrating on producing our first full live A/V set, we're kicking off with some stuff we've already done individually. Once the first show is out of the way, expect some new work here.

The mixes here will be quite varied, as we all have different tastes here at no input, so dive in and see what you like

With the help of a few friends back in the day, No Input's Rhuari curated the rather enjoyable experience we called "Oddcore."

Oddcore was a perfect lazy Sunday afternoon excuse to drink and talk nonsense, whilst listen to an eclectic mix of music thrown together by a number of Edinburgh's top talent in an uninhibited and completely unadulterated manner. The venue was fun, many an Oddcore table football session was had and some seriously silly sounds were listened to. Oh and does anybody remember the Alcoholic Trifles?

This, rather more sedate than usual but more poignantly Summery, mix was one of a number of mixes broadcast by the now defunct interweb-based DilatedRadio. Whilst not Rhuari's usual selection of noise, broken beats and general audio mayhem, it still demonstrates his usual chaotic approach to "chucking together random stuff" in an attempt to create a more holistic uneasy listening experience.

Does it work? Probably not. Does he care? Definitely not. Is it fun? Absolutely!

This is a somewhat varied hip-hop mix with no real theme beyond 'tracks I like'. There are some classics (Grand Master Flash / KRS One), modern classics (Saul Williams / Sage Francis / Brother Ali), some guilty pleasures (Coolio / Kanye West), some teenage memories (Cypress Hill / N.W.A. / Ice Cube) and a couple of not-quite-hip-hop tracks I've crow-barred in (Peeping Tom / Front Line Assembly).
